Make 100% Decisions
There should NOT be room to think about your decision in your head. Now read this entire post because I will start out with an extreme example to get my point across and turn it into a realistic example.
Thought Process #1:
“I am going to eat healthy most of the time but sometimes I'll eat unhealthy food.”
This is an undefined thought process. It makes it more difficult to make decisions. Because you sometimes eat unhealthy food every single time you are confronted with unhealthy food you have to make a decision on whether you will eat it or not.
This causes decision fatigue, the more times you are confronted with decision or other stress the more likely you will experience decision fatigue. You will break down and instead of making a decision that will align with your goals you will instead just eat that unhealthy food. The more frequent decision fatigue is experienced the more likely you are to give up on your goals.
Thought Process #2:
(this is my extreme example I will turn this into a more realistic example afterwards)
“100% of the time I am eating healthy. I never eat unhealthy.”
This is a defined thought process. It makes it easier to make decisions. Because you always eat healthy food you never have to make a decision on whether you will eat something unhealthy when confronted with unhealthy food. Clear answer without thinking, I don't eat that.
This saves you from decision fatigue. Instead of breaking down from all the decisions in your life you have just created an environment where you do NOT make decisions about eating.
Now how do I expect you to realistically use this information...
I want everyone to create their own 100% decisions.
Realistic examples:
“Saturday through Thursday I eat healthy 100% of the time. Friday afternoon after lunch I just eat.”
In this thought process you don't have to think about what you eat 6 days out of the week. I went further to specify only after lunch I just eat. So not only do you eat healthy 6 days out of the week but you also start your possibly unhealthy day on a healthy note.
I promise you that you can eat worse then this & still see results. There is a large fear surrounding allowing yourself to eat unhealthy yet we all do it. For some reason we are afraid to consciously tell ourselves we can eat unhealthy but we allow ourselves forgiveness when we do it anyway.
I want to change that thought process and I want you to instead strategically eat unhealthy. Strategically eating unhealthy will get you to your goals
